Refunds and returns policy
At Maggie’s Wax Emporium, all of our wax melts and candles are made to order. Please read the information below carefully before placing an order.
Made to order items
Because our wax melts and candles are handmade specifically for each order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exempt made-to-order and personalised items from the standard 14-day cancellation period.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
We take great care in packaging our products, but if your order arrives:
- Damaged
- Faulty
- Incorrect
- Or not as described
please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer one of the following in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- A replacement item
- A full or partial refund
- Store credit (where appropriate)
You will not be required to pay return postage for faulty or incorrect items.
Wax Burners & Non-Made-to-Order Items
If we sell non-made-to-order items such as wax burners or accessories, these may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:
- Unused
- In their original packaging
- In a resaleable condition
Return postage costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
